All through the wonderful Antarctic 2011 Expedition, Apartment 919 was also an office with 4 laptops humming when we were not on trips ashore, in zodiacs, on the Bridge, on the 7th deck observing the wildlife, or eating in the 4 restaurants.

Quite an exciting wet landing in the swell on the slippery rocks!

Our luck with the weather continued and although there was a 4 metre/12 feet swell, the Captain made the decision that we would make a zodiac landing at Cape Horn, the southern most tip of South America.

A Chilean Gunboat came to check us out!

We enjoyed a fun Dinner in Tides reflecting on the magnificence of the past 17 days, a trip that Andrew, Carmel, Geoff, Angelica, Jonathan, Gary & Sylvia will never forget.

Dennis hosted a Drinks Party with delicious canapes for Ceri in the "Garden" to celebrate her birthday.
