2011-01-16 ANTARCTICA, Polar Plunge at 67.01S., 67.52 W.

This was the first Polar Plunge on The World South of the Antarctic Circle and many were keen to participate! The Marina was opened up at the stern and the zodiacs herded the icebergs away to allow the jumpers clear freezing water to land in! In most cases it took longer to get in the water than out! Vodka and towels were served to those scrambling up the ladder out of the freezing water. A quick dunk in the hot Marina pool took out the immediate chill!
