2011-01-16 ANTARCTICA, Porquoi Pas Island, Bongrain Point, 67.72 S, 67.80 W, Adelie Penguins

Maurice Bongrain, First Officer on the Porquoi Pas on the French Antarctic Expedition 1908-10 first surveyed the area.

This is home for a large colony of Adelie Penguins.

Note the emergency fuel and rations store by the rocks in case any scientific people got cut off in a storm.
